NOTICE BOARD TREASURER Unfortunately Nigel Hoberton has had to stand-down as Treasurer of MACA due to ill health. In the meantime his son Lee has kindly offered to keep the acccounts until another Treasurer can be found. The running of the 100+ club is being split between several committee members. Members of the 100+ club would greatly assist us by paying for a full year membership in advance if they can. If this is not possible we would be grateful if you could pay at least three months at a time. MACA GENERAL MEETING A General Meeting was held on Tuesday 18th November at 7.30p.m. in Mitton Manor Primary School. The guest speaker was Jean Knight of the Gloucestershire Neighbourhood Watch, who gave an informative talk about reducing crime and reporting suspicious behaviour. PRIZE DRAW Details of the monthly Prize Draw can be found on our Activities page. Go to results of the latest draw.     ABOUT US Mitton Area Community Association (MACA) is a not-for-profit organisation established to organise community-orientated events and activities to benefit those living or working in the area of Tewkesbury bounded by the Carrant Brook, the River Avon and the Gloucestershire/Worcestershire border. To see a map of our area click here One of our aims is to eventually provide a Community Hall or other community facility on land which has been set aside in the new development to the west of Bredon Road. Comments, suggestions or offers of help are welcome from all. We will be organising various fund-raising and social events throughout the year. See our Activities Page for more information. Please print out the form and pass it to the Treasurer at the address shown on the form. FLOODS MACA is an associate of the Severn & Avon Valley Combined Flood Group, a combination of residents' associations which has been set up to lobby local and national government about flood prevention matters.
